You can use your Strip Steel Community Federal Credit Union VISA check card in more ways at more places, and for more things than ever before. Use it as your ATM card and you checkbook rolled into one.
You new Strip Steel Community Federal Credit Union check card works just like your Visa Credit card except it takes the money directly out of your checking account. You may use it anywhere they accept Visa Credit Cards. It is welcome at more than 13 million places around the world. Present you card for your purchases and you checking account will be charged.
Whether you’re shopping around the corner or around the world, it’s the east way to pay right from your checking account, from groceries to department stores to dinners or catalog orders, just present you debit (check) card at the time of the transaction and the amount will be automatically deducted from your share draft account.
You may make deposits into your accounts with your VISA Check Card at any ATM that will accept deposits. There will be a 48 hour hold on all funds deposited through foreign ATMs. If a deposit is made at the 3316 Main Street ATM, deposit funds may be released after the ATM is balanced. The ATM is balanced twice daily. Any deposits made after 4 pm on Fridays may not be released until Monday.

In July, you received a new Visa Credit Card. This new card replaces your old silver VISA card . regardless of the expiration date.
Your new credit card comes with the following features:
24/7 Cardholder Service: call 866-539-9029 (U.S.), 605-782-3585 (International) for balance inquiries, payment information, transaction history, statement requests or to dispute a charge.
· Visa Online Access: real-time Visa information conveniently available in Online Access including: transactions, pending activity, payment information, statements, custom email alerts, plus sign-up for an e-statement!
· We sent you a Recurring Activity Checklist to assist you in updating any recurring payments or credits that will need to be transferred to you new card.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why am I receiving a new Visa card?
Strip Steel Community Federal Credit Union is changing processors to better serve your Visa credit Card needs. This change requires that a new card be issued.
Will my interest rate change as part of this conversion and card reissue?
No. Your interest rate will not be changing.
Will I have a new PIN (Personal Identification Number) so I can access cash from my credit card?
You will no longer receive a PIN in the mail and your old PIN will not work with the new card. You may select your unique PIN by calling the number on the activation label and choosing the correct option.
My existing card does not expire for quite a while; can I continue using my existing card until expiration?
No. Your existing card will not work after July 25, 2011. Instructions will come with your new card to ensure it is ready to use on or after July 25, 2011.
My spouse and I both have Strip Steel Community Federal Credit Union credit cards, and I only received one card. Will my spouse receive a card?
Yes. As a security feature, all cards being issued with this conversion will have unique numbers and will arrive separately. However, you will continue to receive only one bill, regardless of the number of cards on the account.
What do I need to do if I have preauthorized or recurring payments that are tied to my existing Strip Steel Community Federal Credit Union Visa?
To ensure there is no interruption in recurring or preauthorized payments (such as gym memberships, movie clubs or monthly electric or phone bills, etc.), contact the merchants by July 23 with your new card number and expiration date.
Will the due date for my credit card payment change?
No. Your due date will stay the same.
Will I need to send my payment to a new location after the conversion?
Yes. The new address will be included on the statement. If you pay this bill through online bill payment, you will need to update the mailing address to P.O. Box 2711, Omaha, NE 68103-2711 after July 25 to ensure that your payment reaches the processor by your due date. You may also make your payment at the office.
I set-up my monthly Visa payment as an automatic transfer via ACH, payroll deduction or as a recurring transfer Do I have to make any changes?
To ensure there is no interruption in automated payments, contact the provider of this service (i.e.; another bank or bill pay service) by July 25th with your new card number and payment address of P.O. Box 2711, Omaha, NE 68103-2711.
Will my previous card history transfer to my new card number so I have access to the information if needed?
Your previous card history will be retained for your new card/account number. However, you will not be able to access statements/history online after July 25th so we recommend you save the statements to your computer or print hard copies before this date. If you need statement copies after this date, you can call 866-539-9029 for 24-Hour Cardholder Service.
